Trabant Pendant Light
Product Description
Modern design and an extraordinary choice of materials constitute the unique visual character of the pendant light Trabant. It was created in 2008 by Joachim Manz and was soon integrated into the product line of the famous German lighting manufacturer Tecnolumen. All of the differently sized lamp shades are made of cement and hang on a thin cord. A strong contrast between fragility and mass appears, which gives the lamp an exciting and fascinatingly unique look. An extra finesse originates from using raw cement that has not been pressed by machine. This gives the shade a smooth surface with lots of typical little holes and hollows and makes each lamp an individual item.
Tecnolumen offers the Trabant pendant light with different diameters, glass lenses and kinds of suspension. You can see the several possibilities in a list below. If you decide to choose two or more height-adjustable Trabants you can for example create a lighting and decoration concept with several height levels. With its round shape, a porthole-like lens and the special material Trabant guaranties to become an eye catcher at your home and to provide a comfortable and pleasant illumination.
